June Cable is from New Brusnwick, Canada
She enjoys both wet felting and needle felting and frequently “upcycles” garments by transforming them with paint or needle felting.
In June’s opinion, “The great thing about felt is that it is more organic (than knitting or crocheting) and develops as you go, creating surprises or wonderful experiments.”
She goes on to tell us, “I am a fiber artist and instructor living in New Brunswick…I began as a traditional wet felter, graduated to needle felt, then to recycled wool for economy…now I use a combination of felting techniques, embellishing with all the other fiber skills I have gleaned along the way to create.”
